About Me

I have always had a passion for photography.  I started back in the seventies with a Kodak Instamatic 110.  In the late seventies I bought a Canon AE-1 with a couple of lenses.  

In 2011 I purchased a Canon 7D and was hooked on portraits.  I studied at Columbus State University and received my certification as a Portrait and Wedding Photographer.  I started taking pictures of everything from boudoir, portraits, landscape and weddings.  While doing so, I realized that my real love was taking portraits.  

The best part of my day is when I reveal the photos to my clients and hearing them say “I love it!” and all the smiles and laughter that follow are why I keep on shooting.

I am easy-going, down-to-earth, and have a relaxed shooting nature.  I live with my wife of over 45 years in Smiths Station, Alabama.  I absolutely love living in the south and meeting new people everyday!
